Here area few images from today's encounter with very playful Resident Orcas (J-pod) near Lime Kiln Whale Park & San Juan Island!
The Orcas were in a very playful mood today with lots of tail slaps, pectoral slaps, pectoral waves and tail lobs observed.
We had a nice encounter with J27 "Blackberry" a male born in 1991 and who is becoming a favorite in J-pod:) It has been great watching this guy group up into a strong young adult male over the last few years.
