Transient Orcas, Sealions and more! April 15th & 16th, 2011.





















During our trips on April 15th & 16th our guests were treated to the wonders that can be found in this beautiful part of the world, known as the Pacific North West! Not only did we encounter Transient Orcas, but Mouflon Sheep, Sika Deer, Steller Sealions and Bald Eagles:)


So far April has proven to be an excellent month and hopefully this great success will continue throughout the season!

T49's Transient Orcas off Victoria! April 8th, 2011














What an amazing day to be on the water with incrdible weather, wonderful passengers and amazing wildlife! Today we encountered the T49 pod of Transient Orcas right off Victoria waterfront, what a special event:) This was our 5th trip of the season and we are now five for five, with Orcas sighted on every trip of the season so far, lets hope this luck continues!


Apart from the Orcas we also saw Seals, Sealions and Northern Elephant Seals at Race Rocks ecological reserve. It was the perfect spring day!

T20's again! April 7th, 2011





Today during our fourth trip of the season we were lucky enough to encounter the T20's Transient Orcas once again. So far this season we have encountered whales every trip!

Transient Orcas off Victoria! April 6th, 2011



















Today was a beautiful spring day to be on the water and our guests were treated to an amazing trip.


Not far from Victoria Harbour we came across T20 & T21, two Transient Orcas near Constance Bank. We also encountered the T49's group of Transient Orcas near Oak Bay, an added bonus:)


Apart from the Orcas our guests also got to see a Bald Eagle, Harbour Seals, Northern Elephants Seals and California & Steller Sealions!


Today once again proved that April is an excellent month to observe the wonders of the Salish Sea:)
