We headed out this morning in the rain, but that did not prevent us from showing our passengers both Resident Orcas and a Humpback Whale off San Juan Island!
The Orcas were identified as J-pod and were traveling up island, close to shore. We witnessed a lot of foraging (hunting for Salmon) as well as several tail slaps and spy hops.
As well as the Orcas we also found a Humpback Whale just north of Lime Kiln moving north slowly. Our guests we thrilled to see both Resident Orcas and a Humpback Whale on the same trip.
