J-pod encountered near San Juan Island! June 30th, 2012

Here are a few images from this afternoon's encounter with J-pod near San Juan Island!

Here are a few images from our encounter with Resident Orcas (J-pod) near San Juan Island today!
We witnessed a lot of foraging again today as the members of J-pod hunted for Salmon on the west side of San Juan Island. They have been spending a lot of time in this area which means there must be a good deal of Salmon in the area:)

Amongst the Orcas we managed to identify J28 "Polaris' & her calf J46 "Star". We also identified J33 "Double Stuf", J22 "Oreo", & J38 "Cookie".
