New Calf in Lpod!
Today we had some very exciting news when it was confirmed by Dave Ellifritt, Center for Whale Research, that there was a new Calf in Lpod. CWR confirmed that L86 was seen with a new baby, designated as L120. This is the first new calf born in the Southern Resident Killer Whales since 2012 and it is incredible news:)
