J-pod near Sheringham in the morning! April 23rd, 2011.
Here are a few images from this mornings wonderful encounter with J-pod! We first encountered J-pod just East of Sheringham and they were moving slowly East against the ebb tide. The Orcas we could identify included the "Cookie Crew", and J28 "Polaris" with her calf J46. It was great to see J-pod again and the highlight of an incredible morning on the water, this was our first morning trip of the season:)
Apart from J-pod we also encountered Northern Elephant Seals, Harbor Seals, Bald Eagles and both California & Steller Sealions! Our passengers were thrilled with the amazing trip we provided.
