Today we headed out hoping to catch up with Whales that had been reported earlier in the day. However, not long after we headed out of the harbour the fog started to get really thick. Thankfully we did find a couple of Humpbacks despite the thick fog! We also came across several playful Sea Lions at Race Rocks and at one stage we had 30 of them in the water near our boat.
On our way home we came across and very playful group of Dall's Porpoise that began to play in the waves of our boat. Watching these incredible Porpoise swim at speeds of 50+ kph, right at your feet on the bow of our boat is always a thrill:)
