SATURDAY, APRIL 18. 2009 HARBOUR PORPOISE, STELLER SEA LIONS & BALD EAGLES!

SATURDAY, APRIL 18. 2009 HARBOUR PORPOISE, STELLER SEA LIONS & BALD EAGLES!
What did passengers on Five Star Whale Watching's "Supercat" see today?
The distinctive triangular fin of Harbour Porpoise, which have now become a mainstay of the diet of Transient (Marine-Mammal-Eating) Killer Whales.
Some Steller Sea Lions hauled out in the afternoon sun.
Another Steller Sea Lion out for a swim.
A Bald Eagle looking for eggs and chicks in a Double-Crested Cormorant nest.
And a pair of Bald Eagles sharing the perch of a radio antenna on the top of a small lighthouse.
On another beautiful and peaceful Spring afternoon: Variety is the spice of life.
