We headed out this evening and thanks to friends on shore at San Juan Island, we managed to catch up with J-pod near Henry Island during our 1st evening trip of the season! The Resident Orcas of J-pod were in resting formation when we encountered them and sticking close to the shoreline at Henry Island, slowly moving north. Watching 25 Resident Orcas rise and dive together is always an exciting experience and our passengers were thrilled:) As we sat with our engines off the peaceful evening air was filled with the blows of the Orcas:) It was a stunning evening to be on the water and we could not have asked for a better 1st evening trip!
