Tranisent Orca "TO40, Cpt. Hook" off Victoria! May 2nd, 2013
Here are a few images by Ron Bates, MMRG, from today's encounter with TO40 aka Cpt. Hook, who was spotted off Victoria. This Orca has a very distinctive dorsal fin, hence his nickname.
TO40, traveled East throughout the day, right past Victoria waterfront. We also saw Sea Lions, Porpoise, Harbor Seals, and Northern Elephant Seals.
It was another fantastic day on the water!
