Our 2pm tour headed out today with brisk winds but high hopes of finding Transient
Orcas and we were not disappointed!
The crew
on board our vessel "
Fastcat" reported sighting
Orcas at 3.00pm today near
Sooke. Marine Mammal Researcher, Ron Bates and our Naturalist Jacklyn Barrs, soon recognized these 2 Transient Orcas as T20 and T21. These 2 Transient Orcas have been sighted numerous times in the water around Victoria over the last 6 weeks.
Sealions, Seals, Northern Elephant Seals and Eagles were also sighted during our 3 hour tour.
