J1 "Ruffles" born in 1951!
After several days away from our area we were delighted to welcome back J1 "Ruffles" and the rest of Jpod:) Both our trips today saw Jpod including our evening trip when our two boats, Supercat and Fastcat, were the only boats on scene.
It was so exciting to see Jpod again and for me personaly this was the first time I had seen our Jpod this season and it was worth the wait:) We also saw Dalls Porpoise, Harbor Seals, a Steller Sealion and Harlequin Ducks.
In the evening we had to run all the way to Pender Island to catch up with Jpod but all the passengers agreed it was worth the journey to see these magnificent Orcas in their natural environment!
