We headed out this afternoon on what might have been our final trip of the season and were delighted to encounter one of our favorite Humpback Whales, "Split Fin" and a friend, just a few miles south of Discovery Island. As we were watching the 2 Humpback Whales we suddenly started seeing dorsal fins popping up over at Oak Bay Flats and realized that the SRKW's that had been reported near Hein Bank had moved swiftly towards Victoria:)
