Here are some images by Ron Bates, MMRG, from an amazing day on the water where we encountered a Humpback Whale and the Resident Orcas!Our day started off great with reports that K & L-pod had been sighted near Race Rocks heading west. As our 2 vessels full of excited guests headed in that direction they encountered a Humpback Whale right in the middle of the Orcas but going in the opposite direction!
In the afternoon our vessels headed East and encountered J-pod along the west side of San Juan Island:)
