Here are images by Ron Bates, MMRG, from another day of wonderful encounters with J-pod:) J-pod was first sighted north of Lime Kiln in the morning and remained on the west side of San Juan Island for most of the day. Late in the afternoon the pod split in two with one group heading north and one group heading south.
