Today had 3 trips for the SuperCat, and FastCat had her 1st 2 whale watching voyages. Excellent news to our ears and eyes! Our trips today found us generally on the south end of San Juan with J's and K's. All were in foraging mode, clearly some good fish down there! Active, porpoising Dall's porpoises as we were arriving on scene. Trev and I stole a fleeting glance at some larger dark and light coloured animal down there amongst the Dall's, almost in pursuit. We waited, but nothing materialised - hummm, we wonder....
Bumpy seas made for an interesting trip for some passengers. The waves calmed down by the time our evening trip came around, as had the whales. We had K's and J's spread out in the groups, off Lime Kiln, headed slowly north.
