The 5 pictures above are of the 15 Transient Orcas we encountered this morning including the T100's and T20's plus another group we could not identify as we did not get close enough.

Yet another amazing day on the water with reports of Transient Orcas first thing in the morning south of Heine Bank! When we arrived on scene we could see at least 15 Transient Orcas (marine mammal eaters) close together and our Naturalist Kyla soon identified T100's and T20's. Later in our trip the Transients did split up and spread out over a wide area, heading in a South Westerly direction. During our tour we saw several Harbor Porpoises as well as a large Bait Ball on our journey home. However, the most exciting sighting on the way home was a Peregrine Falcon just south of Trial Island, a rare treat indeed!

In the afternoon we headed towards the Heine Bank marker again but this time it was to see Jpod who had travelled West from Lime Kiln and Salmon Bank. We saw most members of Jpod although the pod was spread out over a large area.

On our way home we stopped by Trial Island and saw several Harbor Seals.
