What an incredible day in the Salish Sea, with encounters with Humpback Whales, at least 6 Minke Whales and all 88 Southern Resident Orcas, all in one trip:)
Our first encounter was with Humpback Whales and Minke Whales near Hein Bank. We encountered at least 2 Humpback Whales and at least 6 Minke Whales and the more we looked the more whales we saw!
Next we headed to False Bay where we encountered all 88 Southern Resident Orcas forming a Superpod:) The Orcas could be seen foraging and playing whilst we watched them and we even witnessed a number of Breaches!
On our way home we stopped at Beaumont Shoals and encountered over 100 Harbor Porpoise, what a way to finish another amazing tour:)
