Here are a few images from this afternoon's encounter with the T36's & T99's. The Orcas were being very playful, a rare occurrence with Transient Orcas who are usually very stealthy!
The Orcas were just off Victoria waterfront which meant we were in scene with them less than 30 minutes after leaving the harbour. We witnessed breaching, tailslaps, pectoral slaps, tail lobs, cartwheels and other dramatic acrobatic behavior:)
Apart from these playful Orcas we also saw Harbor Seals, Northern Elephant Seals and Sealions at race Rocks.
