Today we traveled to Protection Island where we had a wonderful encounter with members of the Southern Resident Orcas. The highlight of our trip was watching an intimate interaction between J2 "Granny", a 100 year old female, and one of the youngsters of her pod:) At one stage we watched the youngster and J2 rolling around each other and tail slapping as they moved towards Puget Sound!
