In all my years as a Marine Naturalist, this was one of the most incredible encounters I have witnessed! We sat in awe as we watched a Steller Sea Lion battle with a Giant Pacific Octopus for about 15 minutes. It was a rare and breathtaking event and we were the only boat to witness this special encounter!
