Transient Orcas encountered in the morning! May 25th, 2012
We headed out this morning hoping to find some Orcas for our excited guests and we did not disappoint. Within the 1st hour of our tour we heard about some Transient Orcas being spotted not far from Victoria. We arrived on scene and realized we had a nice group of 7-8 Orca and Ron Bates from the Marine Mammal Research Group, identified them as the T36's and T99's. What a wonderful way to start the day!
