Today we encountered members of Jpod off the West coast of San Juan Island. In the morning we followed two Matrilines near False Bay in resting formation.
In the afternoon our 2 fully loaded vessels followed two more matrilines, one just north of Lime Kiln Whale Park and the other near Andrew's Bay. These Matrilines consist of an older female along with her siblings and can sometimes be comprised of 3 generations.
We also had chance to stop at the Chain Islets where we saw several Harbor Seals with young Pups!
