Our two expeditions Catamarans set out this morning full of excited passengers ready for another Five Star Whale Watching Adventure and they were not disappointed:) Shortly after leaving the harbor news came through that Orcas had been sighted near East Point heading west along Boundary Passage. Both our vessels caught up with the Orcas near Monarch Head and they soon identified members of Jpod, Kpod and a small number of Lpod. It had been a long journey but one that everyone agreed was well worth it:)

In the afternoon the Orcas had moved south and were along the west coast of San Jan Island although some animals had split up and headed to Active Pass. Our vessel "Fastcat' had a wonderful encounter with the Orcas near Hanna Heights.

It was a magical day for passengers and crew alike!
