We set out this afternoon with clear blue skies and calm seas in search of the Humpback Whales that have been sighted consistently over the last 2 weeks. Not only did we find one but up to 4 Humpback Whales swimming very closely together! These Majestic Baleen Whales were being very surface active and vocal as a Steller Sealion was playing amongst them:) This was the first time this season we have seen Sealions interact with Humpback Whales and it was fun to watch as the Steller rolled around between the Whales. We also witnessed several impressive tail flukes, pectoral waves, a spy hop and lunge feeding.

Apart from the Humpback Whales we also saw a large Bald Eagle near a nest at Albert Head, plus Harbor Seals and Sealions at Race Rocks MPA.

October continues to provide some breathtaking tours and wonderful weather!
