Here are a few images from our afternoon encounter with the 4 Humpback Whales off Victoria this afternoon!
After watching the Transient Orcas that had also been sighted off Victoria, we went in search of the Humpback Whales that have been hanging out in the area. However, we did not expect to find 4 in close proximity and 3 swimming side by side! The four we encountered included "Split Fin" plus the mother & calf that have been around for a number of weeks now plus one other Humpback that I could not identify.
We also encountered Stellar & California Sealions, plus Northern Elephant Seals and Harbor Seals at Race Rocks MPA!
