We headed out in the afternoon hoping to catch up to L2 and her sons again this afternoon and we were not disappointed:) On our way over to the Orcas we came across 2 groups of Dall's Porpoise who played briefly in or bow wave.
When we arrived on scene with the Orcas they were near Eagle Point and were again foraging. L2 & L88 were close to shore whilst L78 was further offshore.
We also encountered at least three and possibly as many as 6 Minke Whales this afternoon and had an incredible experience when one Minke Whale swallowed an entire bait Ball (small schooling fish) that we had been watching!
