Afternoon Superpod! Sept 19th, 2013

This afternoon the Resident Orcas had traveled north and we encountered all 3 pods forming a Superpod in Boundary passage! As we arrived on scene Resident Orcas were close to the shore line of Pender Island moving east towards East Pt. They were surfacing in unison and it as a breathtaking site! We also saw several spy hops, tail slaps and pectoral slaps.  We also had some beautiful views of the Resident Orcas swimming through Boundary Passage with Mt. Baker in the background, fantastic:)
