Wildlife Adventure May 30th, 2008.

Our tour this morning took us to Crescent Bay, a beautiful bay on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State. We also visited Freshwater Bay, where the mouth of the Elwha River meets the Strait of Juan De Fuca. During our travels we saw Bald Eagles, a Northern Elephant Seal, Harbor Porpoise, Cormorants and even a Peregrine Falcon. We also stopped at Race Rocks MPA and saw several Northern Elephant Seals, Steller & California Sealions and Harbor Seals.

During our evening tour we again visited Race Rocks where we saw more Sealions and Seals as well as a Bald Eagle and Harbor Porpoise. Whilst at Race Rocks we also noticed one of the US Nuclear Submarines traveling through the Strait.

After visiting Great Chain and the Chain Islets to see the Eagle and Harbor Seals, we headed home and on the way watched another magnificent Pacific Sunset!
