Amazing July 25th evening trip with J-pod!

Here are just a few images from this evenings wonderful encounter with members of J-pod. Although we had to travel almost to East Point, the journey was well worthwhile as we encountered members of J-pod in resting formation. Not long after we arrived on scene the Orcas began to wake up and we saw several spyhops and tailslaps plus some logging at the surface. As we were watching J-pod a sudden and unexpected Thunder & Lightning storm erupted in the sky several miles away but provided a dramatic scene in the sky.

On the way home apart from the lightning we could see several miles away to the East, we also witnessed a double rainbow and a stunning sunset and skyline (see separate post above)!
