THURSDAY, JULY 16, 2009 Herring, Sea Lion & Minke Whales
It is not surprising that where you find large schools of Pacific Herring you often find Marine Mammals feeding.
Today we were treated to a huge "ball of Herring" that started to purculate at the surface, making it appear that it was raining fish! Not long after seeing these fish we saw a Steller Sea Lion and Minke Whales foraging.
