Here are just a few images from today's encounters with members of K-pod (K40 & K21) plus several members of L-pod! We also encountered the Gray Whale that has been hanging around Victoria for the past couple of weeks.
What a way to celebrate the 4th of July! So many whales and another incredible day on the water, which despite less than ideal conditions, provided a real thrill for our passengers:)
The highlights of the day included a lovely encounter with L94 "Calypso" and her new calf L113 in the morning, and in the afternoon watching L41 "Mega" surf through 3-4 foot waves:)

Incredible experience on a particularly stormy sea. At times I thought the bottom of the boat was going to break up. A few whales were seen, plus the grey, but I think most were hiding underwater. Angela London England
