Here are a few images from today's encounters with Resident Orcas (members of L-pod) and Minke Whales. In the morning we encountered at least four Minke Whales as well as L22 & her two son, L79 & L89. We also saw several Harbor Seals, Harbor Porpoise, lots of jumping Salmon and Bald Eagles. In the afternoon we had the joy of watching L22 & her sons signalling each other with Pectoral Slaps and L22 making several Spy Hops as she looked for her two sons! It was another fantastic day whale watching in the Salish Sea:)
