Here is K40 "Raggedy" a female born in around 1962/3 with a very distinctive dorsal fin, from which she gets her name.

The three pictures above were taken by Marine Naturalist, Kyla. The first is L77 "Matia" and L94 "Calypso".
After a few days out West, K & L Pod returned to the Salish Sea today and met up with J Pod near Constance Bank to form Superpod! With all 89 of the Southern Resident Orcas together our passengers were in for a treat and the Orcas did not disappoint. In the afternoon the three pods had separated slightly and by the evening the pods had split up but our passengers got to see a large number of Lpod.

What an incredible experience. In spite of the rain delays, you folks got the Days from Baltimore out on the water and enjoying a great show. We never dreamed that we would see so much activity with so many whales. We also want to thank you for having such a courteous, capable staff. The commentary was outstanding. Your naturalists are extremely well qualified. Again thanks for making our vacation a treasure.
