Here are a few images by Ron Bates, MMRG, from todays wonderful encounters with Resident Orcas and Gray Whale!
In the morning we headed out West and encountered members of L-pod who were heading towards the entrance to the Strait of Juan De Fuca. We also stopped at Race Rocks and showed our passengers the abundance of wildlife there including Seals & Sealions.
During our afternoon trip we headed towards the San Juan Island and encountered members of J & K-pod. We also encountered the gray Whale during our afternoon trip.
It was a beautiful day on the water:)
