Humpback Whales in the fog in the morning! Sept 30th, 2012
We headed out this morning with fog to deal with out west and to the south of Victoria but that did not prevent us from finding 2 Humpback Whales near Race Rocks:)
The Humpback Whales were two adults including one of our favorite Humpback Whales known as "Split Fin". We watched the Humpback Whales for a while and did get to see a couple of tail flukes as they went on a deep dive.
We also stopped off at Race Rocks to show our guests the enormous amount of wildlife at this amazing ecological reserve including Harbor Seals, Northern Elephant Seals, California Sea Lions and Steller Sea Lions:)
Despite the fog it was a beautiful morning to be on the water!
