This afternoon we encountered a large pod of Transient Orcas near Moresby Island and they Orcas were in a very playful mood:)
Whilst we were on scene we witnessed several dramatic breaches, Cartwheels, tail slaps and pectoral slaps!
Then
the Transient Orcas went hunting in one of the nearby reef and we could see several nervous Harbor Seals.
The Transient Orcas were acting more like Resident Orcas today with so much activity, a rare experience with these stealthy apex predators!
