Resident Orcas form a Superpod south of Victoria! Oct 7th, 2012

Today we had the first true Superpod of the season when all 3 pods of Resident Orcas were within a 1/4 mile of each other and traveling in large matrilineal lines. Watching over 80 Resident Orcas travel together is an amazing experience.
We saw breaches, pectoral slaps, tail lobbing, tail slaps and spy hops, as the Resident Orcas played around as they continued to move East! This was one of the best trips of the season and left all on board the boat speechless:)
