On the way back from another excellent trip we stopped by the Chain Islands and saw these two Eagles.
L41 "Mega"
This afternoon our passengers were fortunate enough to see all 25 members of J Pod plus 4 members of the L 12's sub Pod. The Orcas were in resting mode when we arrived and heading North. We got to see J1 "Ruffles, J2 "Granny", the new Calf J42 and her mother J16 "Slick" as well as L41 "Mega", L77 "Matia", L94 "Calypso" and L25 "Ocean Spirit".
The L12 sub pod of Lpod usually consists of 12 animals led by L12 "Alexis", but L12 and 7 other members of this sub pod have rejoined Lpod and left the other 4 members behind.
