J42 the new Calf
WOW, is the only way to describe our evening cruise tonight!!! We had to travel a fair distance to catch up to J Pod near Pender Island and by the time we arrived on scene the animals were already slowly moving towards active pass. The long travel time was worth it though as not long after we arrived we saw a breach and that was just the beginning of the breathtaking action our passengers enjoyed. Just look at the pictures above for a small example of what we experienced!
Once again on the way home we were treated to an incredible sunset.

TRIP left me speechless! It was worth the long ride to be up close to these marvelous creatures! Would love to come back for a return visit & do some more whale watching--bring my 21 year old daughter next.
It was a very special trip and I am glad you enjoyed yourself. We look forward to you and your daughter joining us in the future.
