The crew aboard our vessel Supercat decided to have a look out West this afternoon to see what they could find after noticing the Transient Orcas they had spent time with took off at 10knts towards Neah Bay. Skipper Trev, Researcher Ron Bates and Naturalist Marina, soon spotted fins in the distance and after closer examination with binoculars they realised they had sighted L Pod!!!!
L Pod had spent the winter in California and everyone was excited to see our largest of the three Southern Resident Pods return to our waters. Welcome back LPod and excellent job Trev, Ron and Marina!!!
