L41 "Mega"
During our 10am trip aboard Fastcat today we caught up with members of the L12 sub pod near False Bay. The animals were spread out and moving south as we arrived on scene but did change direction and headed North about half way through our trip.
We got to see L41 "Mega", his siblings L94 "Calypso" & L77 "Matia" as well as their Aunt L25 "Ocean Sun". Orcas form a close bond with their family members.
On the way home we stopped in at the Chain Islands and got to see many Harbour Seals as well as Cormorants.
