Spyhop in the fog.

Passengers on our upper deck take advantage of our warm cruiser jackets to keep the rain at bay. Today these jackets were definitely needed!

These three girls had come all the way from near Stratford in the South of England.

Supercat in dense fog.

Today we found Jpod near Turn Point in the morning minus a small group that had remained south of Lime Kiln Lighthouse.

When we ventured out to see this sub pod of Jpod we found ourselves near Lime Kiln in pretty thick fog, a "Pea Souper" as they say in my neck of the woods in the North of England. The fog made for some dramatic sightings as we often could hear the Orcas coming towards us but could not see them until they were close by (about 100 metres)! We saw J14 "Samish", J22 "Oreo", J27 "Blackberry", J11 "Blossom", J38 "Cookie" and J40 "Suttles".

Despite the fog and rain the passengers on our 5 sold out trips today all had an exhilarating time.
