Today was another spectacular day spent observing the colossal Humpback Whales in the Juan De Fuca Strait!
During our evening tour we watched one very hungry Humpback Whale Lunge Feeding and it was quite the spectacle. Humpbacks feed on Krill and other small fish and scoop up hundred at a time with each gigantic mouthful.
We also stopped by Race Rocks and saw a large number of Stellar & California Sealions as well as Elephant Seals and Harbor Seals. Race Rocks is one of the few places where all three of these Pinnipeds can be observed at the same time.
