We had Jpod off the West Coast of the San Juan Islands all day. Our Naturalists identified several members of Jpod including J1 "Ruffles", J2 Granny", J16 "Slick" & her calf J42, J30 "Riptide" and J27 "Blackberry".
During our evening trip the wind and waves picked up a little to make for an exhilerating trip. J26 "Mike" was seen not too far from our boat (just over 100 yards), which was a thrill to all our passengers. We also saw several members of Jpod surfing the waves and obviously having a lot of fun.
