Jpod and 6 members of Lpod were first reported near the Odas Buoy this morning heading towards False bay. Our vessel "Supercat" was one of the first boats on scene and had a fantastic time observing the Orcas as they moved East.
In the afternoon we caught up with the Orcas just North of Lime Kiln lighthouse where we observed a number of Breaches, tailslaps, tailflukes and pectoral slaps as the pod made its way north.
By the time our vessels departed in the evening the Orcas had travelled to Pender Island and we encountered the orcas near Moet just before they entered Active Pass.
