August ended just the way it started, with lots of Orcas providing an exciting and unforgettable experience for our passengers!
The Resident Orcas were encountered off the west coast of San Juan Island today with members of Jpod, Kpod and part of Lpod traveling together.
In the afternoon a group of three Transient Orcas were also reported close to Victoria and our afternoon tour picked up the Orcas near Oak Bay Marina. During the tour at least one Harbor Seal kill was witnessed.
As we move forward into the month of September I can only hope the run of spectacular trips we enjoyed in August continues!
