Here are a few images from our Breathtaking Evening encounter with J, K & L-pod!
We headed out in thick fog this evening but determined that the fog would not prevent us from finding the Orcas! Eventually we encountered the Orcas near Eagle Point and as we sat with our engines off in the fog we could hear the blows as the Orcas surface well before we actually saw our first Orca.
Not long after we arrived on scene we realized we had all three pods J, K & L-pod together, almost 90 whales:) We witnessed some incredible breaches, cart wheels, tail slaps, spyhops and tail lobs as the Orcas moved north, it was breathtaking!
