Here are a few images by Ron Bates of Marine Mammal Research Group (MMRG), from today's encounter with members of K & L-pod! The Orcas were in close resting formation in the morning which is always a thrill to watch. In the afternoon they spread out and began actively foraging (hunting) for Salmon! We also encountered the Gray Whale today who is stil hanging around the area:)
