May 2nd Gray Whale at Crescent Bay

Today we watched a Gray Whale at Crescent Bay. Crescent Bay is on the US side of the Strait of Juan De Fuca, part of the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State. The Bay is a popular hang out for the Gray Whales as it has a shallow flat bottom, which is perfect for the Gray Whales that like to feed in the silty bottoms of bay like Crescent Bay.

We have had a number of sighting of this Gray Whale in or near Crescent Bay recently.
